All cultural and sporting union organizations close to the Party were also banned. <\/p><p>Liaisons between the leadership of the PCF, now underground, and M.O.I. leaders are temporarily <a href=\"#\" data-note=\"3693\">interrupted<\/a>. The Yiddish-language newspaper <em><a href=\"#\" data-note=\"3567\">Na\u00efe Presse <\/a><\/em>was published until the end of September 1939, when it too was <a href=\"#\" data-note=\"3568\">banned<\/a>. The various structures of the <a href=\"#\" data-note=\"3694\">Jewish section of the M.O.I.<\/a> immediately put their documents and materials under cover (stocks of paper, printing machines, mimeographs, stencils, etc.).
